The block print face design of Kalamkari art form captivates me very much. Fridays are said to be auspicious for Devi Ma and I was tempted to try the popular kalamkari block print face design to depict the Goddess. I was very much aware that I would not be able to do justice to the beauty of the face as in the original , yet I decided to make an attempt.
It was a back bending exercise, once I release the powder from the fingers , I can’t go back as there is no editing option unlike a pencil nd an eraser . The final result does falll very much short in comparison to the original , nevertheless I enjoyed the process. Thankyou Devi Ma 🙏🙏🙏
